About Championship
On the 22-29 of September, 2008 two international sport events will take place in Perm. Ten years ago the first Greco-Roman wrestling championship among vets was held in Perm. And this year Perm again will receive guests from all over the world on jubilee X world championship on Greco-Roman wrestling among vets, and also on XIV world championship on free-style wrestling among vets.
The upcoming world championship is one of the most important sport events for Perm region in 2008. In the course of one week more than 1000 sportsmen from 74 countries of the world including cities of Russia will visit Perm.
The organizer of the championship is Perm city club of combat sports “Perm Bears” with the support of the Federation of combat sports in Russia, International federation of Fighting Intruders at Low Altitude (FILA), European committee FILA (CELA).
